The federal government has announced its resolve to fix the Jebba-Mokwa as well as the Ajase-Ipo- Offa roads in Kwara State.

The minister of National Planning, Dr. Abubakar Sulaiman stated this in a statement signed by his Media aide, AbdulRahman AbdulRauf.

Sulaiman, reiterated his earlier position on the Kwara State civil servants as the least paid in the country.

On the state of some federal roads within the state, Sulaiman assured that he had the assurance of Mr. President to fix the Ajasse-Ipo-Offa and Jebba Mokwa roads.

"But beyond this, I challenge the state government under the Abdulfatah Ahmed-led administration to come up with a list of new roads it has opened in its close to four years in office.

"Available record shows that all the government could do is to patching and fixing potholes, a job better handled by the local government," he stated.
