Kwara gov bags awards in UK

Kwara State Governor Dr. Abdul-fatah Ahmed received two awards for exceptional performance in office at the Nigerian centennial celebrations in London last week, a statement from Raheem Adedoyin, his Special Adviser, Communication Strategy said yesterday.

At the award night held at Parklane Mayfair Hotel organised by the Commonwealth Democracy Initiative (CDI) in partnership with the GLEEHD Foundation, Ahmed received the A.D. King Foundation award for achievement in public service and the CDI award for excellence.
