Kwara Utd manager seeks maturity from fans
The General Manager of Kwara United Football Club of Ilorin, Haruna Maigidasanma, has called on fans of the club to play their role in the season with high level of maturity.
He said this would assist the club's return to the Glo Nigeria Premier League next season.
The soccer tactician, in a statement by the team's media official, Yinka Owolewa, says the club would build on the goalless draw against Sokoto United in the week one of the Nigeria National League (NNL) to achieve their promotion target.
Maigidasanma expressed confidence over the calibre of players in the team said the management would do all within its power to fully support the Samson Unuanel led technical crew.
Kwara drew 0-0 with Sokoto United last Saturday in the opening fixture of the 2013/14 NNL season at the Giginya Memorial Stadium in Sokoto and will host Kogi United on Saturday in Ilorin in a week two encounter.
Kwara United were one of the four clubs relegated to the NNL at the end of the 2012/2013 season from the Nigeria Premier League.
The rest are Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Wikki Tourists FC of Bauchi and Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) of Ilorin.
