Kwara Utd charges ABS, United fans to stick together
The General Manager of Kwara Utd Fc of Ilorin, Alhaji Haruna Maigidasanma, has called on soccer fans in the state to get behind his team and ABS FC inorder to ensure promotion next season.
Maigidasanma made the call in Ilorin on Thursday while speaking ahead of the Nigeria National League (NNL) kick off.
The NNL would kick off on Sat. Feb. 15, with matches to be played across the country in the abridged format league.
The Kwara Utd manager said the call is imperative because the fans play a significant role in sports.
Maigidasanma also noted that ABS and his team are one and urged the aopporters of the two Kwara based teams to come together like one big family.
The Afonja Warriors boss said his team is battle ready for the challenges ahead of it even as he confirmed that the NNL is a tougher league than where the team was last term.
He asked the fans to exhibit the spirit of sportsmanship anytime the team is playing at home and accept results as it come, adding that his management has raised a team that will not disappoint.
Maigidasanma disclosed that the team will not take it lightly with anybody that is working towards making the team to witness what happened to it last season.
"I want to appeals to our fans and supporters to always get behind the team no matter the result".

The Afonja Warriors would play in group A of the abridged format National league.
