Kwara South APC Vows to Recall Senator Ajibola

Date: 2014-01-27

Kwara South Stakeholders Forum of All Progressive Congress(APC) in Kwara state  at the weekend said that   it has begun necessary processes to recall the Senator representing the district in the senate,  Senator Siimeon Ajibola for alleged  poor representation of the district at the upper house.

The forum  passed votes of confidence in the leadership of Senator Bukola Saraki representing Kwara central senatorial district at the National Assembly  and the State Governor, Alhaji  Abdulfatah Ahmed.

It would be recalled that Senator Ajibola was the only senator from Kwara state that has refused to join APC alongside with Senator Saraki and Senator Shaaba Lafiaji and he has  vowed to remain in the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).

The forum  in a statement jointly issued and signed by its chairman, Alhaji S.O. Yusuf and Secretary, Prince Yemi Afolayan in Ilorin on Sunday and made available to journalists  noted that Senator Ajibola in the last 10 years of representing the district in the senate remained a bench warmer.
