Member representing Ilorin East/Ilorin South Federal Constituency of Kwara State in the House of Representatives, Honourable Ali Ahmad, has donated N3 million to victims of recent rainstorm in Ilorin metropolis.

Speaking at a programme to mark the first anniversary of his representation in the National Assembly at Pake Local Government Education Authority Primary School in Ilorin-East Local Government Area, at the weekend, Hon. Ahmad said a committee had been set up for the disbursement of the financial aid.

He asked the victims to inform the committee about the damage they suffered in the rainstorm, adding that none of them would be exempted in the disbursement.

The lawmaker, who thanked the people of his constituency for the trust they reposed in him to elect him to represent them at the National Assembly, disclosed that he has concluded arrangement to drill 26 motorised boreholeS at different locations in the constituency.

He said that he had arranged for installation of 14 transformers in the constituency to aid electricity supply in the area.

Hon. Ahmad also promised to construct a mini stadium at Government Secondary School, Ilorin and build a health center at Tanke area of the constituency.

He also said that he would be consistent on his programmes to reduce unemployment rate among graduates and promote academic excellence among students of the constituency.

The lawmaker, who gave stewardship of his activities at the National Assembly, promised not to disappoint the people of his constituency as their representative at the legislative house.
