Unilorin student bags SWAN award
The Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria (SWAN), an affiliate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), has awarded a scholarship to Miss Rasheedat Oyindamola Afolabi, a 300 Level student of the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Ilorin.
The award, in the sum of N100, 000.00 was given to Miss Afolabi for being the best 300 Level Accounting student in the 2012/2013 academic session at the University of Ilorin from Lagos State.
The award was presented during the investiture of the Chairperson of the SWAN, Mrs. Onome Joy Olaolu and other executive committee members at Shali Hall, Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos.
Among the dignitaries at the occasion was the Sub-Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, Dr. (Mrs.) Khadijat Adenola Yahaya, who represented the Faculty.
