he Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate and his running mate for the forthcoming elections, Sen. Simeon Sule Ajibola and Mall Ahmed Yinka A?luko's convoy was today attacked in Share in the Ifelodun local government area of the state by some suspected thugs of the All Progressive Congress, APC.

The campaign team which was composed of party chieftains and supporters were ambushed at the early hour of this morning while returning from Edu and Patigi local government area injuring one policeman (name withheld).

The PDP team had witnessed hitch-free tour throughout Edu and Patigi local government areas ?but was seriously humiliated by the APC supporters who were disturbed by the threat posed on the re-election bid of Gov Ahmed owing to the successful and massive acceptance of the PDP in the state.
