Kwara Utd Condoles Anjorin family
Jimoh Anjorin, popularly known as "Agidi", was on Sunday alleged to have been involved in a head-on collision during an All Stars organised match in Lagos before been rushed to a nearby hospital.
He was later confirmed dead on Monday afternoon. He was interred at a Muslim cemetery in Ilorin on Monday according to Islamic rites.
The general manager of the club, Alhaji Haruna Maigidasanma, who described the death of the late Super Eagles midfielder as a rude shock, also said he was a disciplined player and God fearing person.
Maigidasanma who was away when the corpse of the deceased arrived Ilorin, said he ordered top officials of the club to attend the burial rites adding that the team would send a high powered delegation to attend the Fidau prayers.
He said the team would observe a minute silence in their next game against Wikki Tourists of Bauchi on Saturday in Ilorin with the players on Black Band to honour the late midfielder as it was done in honour of a former Chairman of the club, Dr Ayo Bello against Jigawa Golden Stars.
Late Jimoh Anjorin was a famous Nigerian star who has played for Kwara Bombers, Kwara United, Nitel, 3SC and Gombe United.
