'No Crisis in Kwara PDP'
The Kwara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has again denied the leadership tussle in the party, insisting the former governor, Dr. Bukola Saraki remains the leader of PDP in the state.
The party said the state chapter remains the most united among the chapters of the ruling PDP in the country and described the rumoured crisis in the chapter as a figment of imagination of those peddling the rumour.
The State Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Moshood Adebimpe spoke in reaction to the statement credited to a pressure group, Kwara Change Initiative, which blamed the alleged leadership crisis on the poor leadership qualities of the former governor.
The group had said in a statement by its organizing secretary, Adewale Adefila that, "The former governor refused to come to terms with the fact that he rode so long on the back of his late father, Dr. Olushola Saraki who during his days helped the young man to fix nearly everything".
