The Kwara State Government has again reiterated its commitment to give the Police the required support to enable them perform their duty effectively.
The Secretary to the State Government of Kwara State, Alhaji Isiaka Gold made this known when he received the new Commissioner of Police for Kwara State in his office during  the latter's courtesy visit.
Alhaji Gold stated that the State has been peaceful all this while, urging the new Police boss in the State to sustain existing peace while congratulating the Police boss on his assumption of office, praying God to keep watch over him.
The secretary also advised the new Police boss to work hard and in conjunction with the state security team in order to achieve the desired aims and objectives .
Earlier in his speech, the new Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Oshodi Clover pledged to maintain and sustain the existing peace in the state. He also promised to serve the state optimally in the interest of all Kwarans.
Also in attendance were the Special Adviser on Security matters, Alhaji Ahmed Yinka Aluko; Senior Special Assistant Security-Intelligence, Alhaji Abdulsalam Bolakale Suleiman; Special Assistant on Security, Alhaji Tajudeen Alabi; Permanent Secretary General Services, Alhaji Muritala Adisa Shehu and Director Special Services, Alhaji Muhammed Shaba.
