ARMTI Sets to Train Farmers in Kwara
In a bit to fulfil its objectives, the management of the Agricultural and Rural Management Training Institute (ARMTI), Ilorin has reiterated the institute’s commitment to organise training for farmers and all stakeholders in agricultural sector.
The Public Relations Officer of the institute, Mr Mayowa Gidado, who stated this in a chat with Royal Times correspondent said “the training would commence with a public lecture by a great farmer and former president of the country, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on the 21st of March 2013.”
According to him, the programme will serve as an avenue to fulfil the mandate of the institute in management training, consultancy service, management research and to contribute to policy development which would enhance better management of rural and agricultural sector across the country.
