Seven More Programmes Accredited at KWASU

The National Universities Commission has given one hundred percent accreditation to seven more programmes of the Kwara State University,Malete.This is in addition to 17 programmes of the institution earlier given one hundred percent accreditation by the NUC on the 16th of January, 2013.

The newly accredited programmes are: Banking and Finance, Interim; Computer Science, Interim; Business Education, Full; Early Childhood and Primary Education, Full; Library and Information Science, Full; Mass Communication, Full; Tourism and hospitality Management, Full.

The results were released on the 5th of March 2013.

The Vice Chancellor of the Institution, Professor AbdulRasheed Na’Allah congratulated all students and staff of all successful departments, he further expressed gratitude to all KWASU staff and students for their corporation and support given to the concerned departments. The results he pointed out is evidence of excellent qualities and outstanding work.

Professor Na’Allah added that early next year, the Institution will be presenting programmes in the College of engineering for accreditation. He called for increased dedication to work and ethics to continue to uplift the image of KWASU throughout Nigeria as the leading twenty first century university.
