KWACCIMA Begins Preparations for 13th Kwara Trade Fair in December
The Kwara Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KWACCIMA) has commenced arrangements for the 13th Kwara Trade Fair.
It is scheduled to hold from 16th to 20th December 2026 in Ilorin, Kwara State, North Central Nigeria.
The 13th Kwara Trade Fair, with the theme "Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation: The Future of Small and Medium Enterprises," is designed to provide a vibrant platform for businesses, investors, government institutions, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders to showcase products and services, forge partnerships and explore new investment opportunities.
As part of the Chamber's preparations for a successful and impactful trade fair, the inauguration of the committee of members was held under the chairmanship of the 1st Deputy President of the Chamber, Alhaji Ibraheem Yinka Yahaya.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, the Acting Director-General of KWACCIMA, Ahmed Maigida Olarongbe, emphasised the Chamber's commitment to making the 13th Kwara Trade Fair a strategic platform for promoting enterprise development, investment, innovation and economic growth in Kwara State.
He noted that the Trade Fair would go beyond the traditional exhibition of products by creating meaningful opportunities for businesses to connect, access markets, attract investment, adopt technology and build sustainable partnerships.
Ahmed therefore called on businesses, government agencies, financial institutions, investors, development partners, entrepreneurs, manufacturers, farmers, innovators and members of the public to actively participate in the Fair.
According to him, the Chamber is confident that the 13th edition will further strengthen Kwara State's position as an emerging destination for business, investment, innovation and enterprise development.
Other members of the committee were drawn from the Chamber's membership and key stakeholders, including the National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME), Kwara State Chapter, and the National Association of Small Scale Industrialists (NASSI).
The Trade Fair will feature a rich blend of activities and business opportunities, including exhibition and product showcasing, Business-to-Business (B2B) discussions, networking and investment opportunities, innovation, technology and digital solutions, agriculture and agro-value chain development, SME growth and business development, and talent discovery and development.
