As part of efforts to promote cultural harmony, tourism, and festive recreation in the state, the Kwara State Government is set to host another edition of Ileya Groove during the forthcoming Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Culture and Tourism, Hon. Eyiwumi Muka Ray, made this known in a statement issued in Ilorin, describing the event as a unique gathering designed to bring together residents, families, fun seekers, and visitors in a peaceful and lively atmosphere.

He explained that the initiative reflects the commitment of the administration of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq to supporting programmes that encourage social interaction, showcase local creativity, and strengthen the state's entertainment and tourism sector.

According to him, this year's edition will feature a blend of music, games, cultural performances, food and relaxation spots, talent showcases, recreational activities, and other engaging experiences carefully curated to deliver a memorable Eid celebration for attendees.

Hon. Muka Ray added that Ileya Groove has continued to grow into one of the state's key festive attractions, assuring residents of a well-organised and enjoyable experience for people of all ages.

The event is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 by 2:00pm at the Kwara State Amusement Park, Ilorin.

He urged members of the public to look forward to the celebration and participate fully with family and friends.
