Kwara State Government Announces 26th July as Commom Entrance Exam Date

The Kwara State Government has announced Saturday, 26th July 2025 as the date for the Common Entrance (Placement) Examination into Junior Secondary Schools across the 16 Local Government Areas of the state.

The Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe, disclosed this on Wednesday at the Ministry’s headquarters in Ilorin, stating that necessary arrangements have been concluded to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.

According to Dr. Olohungbebe, the examination will commence at 8:00 a.m. prompt at designated centres across the state, urging pupils, parents, and school administrators to adhere strictly to the examination guidelines.

The Commissioner expressed appreciation to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for the full sponsorship of the examination and warned that any principal or headteacher found collecting illegal fees from pupils will face the full weight of the law.
