EFCC operatives from the Ilorin zonal office arrested 47 suspected cybercriminals yesterday during coordinated sting operations across Kwara State.

The arrests followed actionable intelligence on the suspects' alleged involvement in cybercrime activities.

Targets were apprehended in strategic locations, including Awolowo Road, Tanke, and Harmony Estate in Ilorin, and Ganmo and Amoyo in the Ifelodun Local Government Area (LGA).

During searches, investigators recovered a haul of suspected cybercrime proceeds: 10 luxury vehicles, 74 mobile phones, 18 laptops, and a motorcycle.

The suspects will face charges in court once investigations are concluded.
