Kwara United's Tunde Sanni Calls for Focus Ahead of Crucial NPFL Match Against Enyimba

Date: 2025-05-06

Kwara United Technical Adviser Tunde Sanni has urged his players to remain focused ahead of their midweek Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 36 clash against Enyimba FC.

The Harmony Boys secured a spot in the 2025 President's Cup semi-finals after a penalty shootout victory over Akwa United on Saturday.

Kwara United will now face Enyimba in an NPFL encounter at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba on Wednesday.

Sanni warned that the excitement from the Federation cup triumph should not distract the team in the league.

"At this point, we must redouble our commitment and stay focused," Sanni told Kwara United media.

"Both physical and mental alertness must be at 100% if we truly want to achieve our targets."

Kwara United defeated Enyimba in the reverse fixture in Ilorin.

Wasiu Alalade and Junior Aimufua grabbed the goals in the game.
