Ambassador Seriki Urges Kwara United to Rise to Challenge Against 3SC

Date: 2025-02-11

Renowned young politician and businessman, Ambassador Yahaya Seriki, has thrown his weight behind Kwara United as they prepare for their rescheduled Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match against Shooting Stars (3SC) on Wednesday in Ilorin. He encouraged the team to seize the opportunity to make the state proud by securing a crucial victory.

Shooting Stars, currently second in the league standings, have been one of the standout teams this season and are expected to pose a formidable challenge to Tunde Sanni's squad.

Despite his demanding schedule, Seriki, a devoted supporter of Kwara United, affirmed that he closely monitors the team's progress, even while away from home. The accomplished mining entrepreneur urged the players and coaching staff to approach the game with the utmost focus and determination, highlighting that a win would greatly enhance the team's position in the league.

“Kwara United belongs to all of us, and we must always support the team to ensure they bring pride to the state in all competitions,” Seriki stated.

He further expressed confidence that the players understand the importance of the match and assured them of his unwavering support, wishing them success on match day.

Kwara United currently sit 10th on the NPFL table after 22 rounds of matches this season.
