Saraki Announces Free JAMB/UTME Form Distribution & Extra Mural Classes

Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki, the Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, has concluded all necessary arrangements for his annual free JAMB/UTME forms for applicants throughout the State; and sponsorship of a one month free extra mural classes for all students who have registered for the 2013 UTME (JAMB) examination.

The gesture which is part of Senator Saraki's Educational Support Scheme, will provide free 520 JAMB forms for applicants from Kwara Central Senatorial District and 705 for applicants from both Kwara North and Kwara South Senatorial District, totaling 1,225. Senator Saraki had extended the same gesture during the JAMB session in 2012 from which 1,225 students had benefited.

Students intending to sit for the 2013/2014 JAMB/UTME examination will benefit from the scheme. According to official statement released by Senator Saraki's office, applicants will be screened on the 8th and 9th of February, 2013 at the ABS Constituency Office, Mandate, Western Reservoir - Olorunsogo road, Ilorin; beginning from 9:00am.

Speaking on behalf of the Constituency office, Alhaji Nasir Subair stated that this programme is an attempt to complement the effort of the State government and to help improve literacy levels in the state.

In a statement issued from the Constituency Office of the Senator Saraki, registration for the Extra Mural Classes shall commence in the following Centers between 12th to 16th of February, 2013.

Ilorin Foundation, Gari-Alimi for Kwara Central candidates

  1. Iyeru Okin primary School Offa, for Kwara South candidates.
  2. Lafiagi Central School, for candidates from Edu and Patigi axis.
  3. Okuta Central Primary School, for candidates from Kaiama Baruteen axis.
