Former Speaker Expresses Sorrow Over Passing of Florence Saraki
According to a news report from New Telegraph, the eighth Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Prof. Ali Ahmad, has expressed his deep sorrow over the demise of Chief Mrs. Florence Morenike Saraki, the mother of the former President of the 8th Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, CON.
In a condolence statement issued in Ilorin yesterday, the former speaker shared in the grief of the Saraki family, describing the passing of their matriarch as both sad and shocking.
Prof. Ahmad highlighted Chief Mrs. Saraki's role as a bridge builder and a dedicated mother to her children. According to the family, Chief Mrs. Florence Morenike Saraki passed away on Tuesday at the age of 89.
Prof. Ali extended his heartfelt condolences to the entire Saraki family, urging them to take solace in the impactful life of their matriarch.
