20,751 people benefit from Kwara govt's support fund
The Kwara State Government has commenced the disbursement of funds to an additional 20,751 beneficiaries, including petty traders, widows, and other indigents in the state.
This intervention is part of the state's social safety net and is aimed at providing further assistance in response to the recent removal of fuel subsidy.
The approved beneficiaries for this phase include 1,569 widows, 1,611 petty traders, 12,500 youths for Kwara public welfare and 5,071 individuals who were previously enumerated under the safety net.
Dr Olayinka emphasised that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's implementation of various palliative measures demonstrated his commitment to the welfare of the people and the development of the state.
