Kwara Gov Appoints 5 Permanent Secretaries, Redeploys Others

The Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has approved the appointment of five new Permanent Secretaries in the State Service.

A statement by the Chief Press Secretary in the office of the State Head of Service, also indicated that eleven others were reshuffled.

The new Permanent Secretaries are; Alh Abdullahi Kayode Wahab, (Ministry of Works & Transport); Mr. Ayowade Peter Kayode (Ministry of Social Development); Mrs. Oluyomi Esther Folasayo (Political & Cabinet, Office of Secretary to the State Government); Alhaji Abdullahi Mao Mohammed (Housing & Urban Development) and Mrs Funke Sokoya (Ministry of Solid Minerals).

The redeployed Permanent Secretaries are; Okanlawon Olarewaju Musa moved from the Ministry of Solid Minerals to the Ministry of Women Affairs; Mrs. Saidu Habidat Salman from the Ministry of Tertiary Education to the Ministry of Energy; Mrs Ibrahim Hafsat Adenike of the Ministry of Housing & Urban Development, moved to the Ministry of Environment and Mrs Rebecca Bake of Social Development moves to the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development.

Also, Alh Olokooba Isiaka Yinka formerly of the Ministry of Works moves to the Ministry of Agriculture; Mrs. Samuel Elizabeth Keatswa moved to the Bureau of Statistics from the Ministry of Environment; Alh Yahaya Mohammed of Water Resources is now in the Ministry of Communications and Mrs. Adeosun Mary Kemi moved from the Ministry of Education to the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Technology.

Others are; Alhaja Grillo Sabitiyu Kikeloma, Political & Cabinet, Office of Secretary to the State Government return to the Ministry of Tertiary Education: Alh Alabere Razaq Babatunde of the Ministry of Energy to the Ministry of Youths Development while Mrs Asonibare Omolola Christiana formerly of the Ministry of Communications takes charge of the Ministry of Water Resources.

They are also expected to resume at their respective new ministries immediately.
