Senator Saliu Mustapha Appoints Legislative Aides
The Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, North Central Nigeria in the National Assembly, Saliu Mustapha has appointed 70 Legislative Aides and Technical Advisers.
These Legislative Aides and Technical Advisers will play instrumental roles in aiding him to deliver on his electioneering commitments.
Senator Mustapha is also the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture Production Services and Rural Development.
His aide, Prince Tunji Buhari who represented the lawmaker at the presentation of the appointment letters to the appointees, extended his gratitude to those whom he said contributed to his successful election campaign and assured the public of more empowerment programmes.
According to him, the diverse groups of the appointees came from various spheres, encompassing politics, community service, academia, and the private sector.
He stressed that many of these individuals have previously collaborated with Senator Mustapha, by contributing their skills and expertise in different capacities.
Buhari said that the Technical Advisers stand out as unique people who have brought specialized knowledge and proficiency to the programmes of the lawmaker.
He said these experts would offer invaluable guidance within their respective fields, assisting with matters specific to their areas of expertise.
Buhari assured them of unhindered access to Senator Mustapha so as to enable them have productive discussions with him on matters that are vital to the development of his senatorial district.
The Lawmaker's aide therefore encouraged the electorate to offer advice whenever necessary, highlighting Senator Mustapha's commitment to being a representative for all.
Barrister Alabi Abdulkareem, the Senior Special Adviser on Research & Strategies to Senator Saliu Mustapha, reiterated the importance of accessibility by establishing constituency offices in all local governments within Kwara Central.
Abdulkareem said that Senator Saliu Mustapha meticulously selected his appointees based on his personal familiarity with their capabilities.
He emohasised his belief in their potentials to assist him in realizing his legislative objectives.
He called upon them to leverage on their vast experiences to contribute effectively in their new roles.
He stressed that their appointments are effective immediately and would remain in place until the conclusion of Senator Saliu Mustapha's tenure, unless otherwise decided.
Abdulkareem said that with the strategic team in place, Senator Mustapha was poised to navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead with a strengthened force of support.
