The Candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), for the Ilorin West/Asa Federal House of Representatives, Mallam Muktar Tolani Shagaya , on Saturday visited the Balogun Ajikobi, Alhaji Isiaq Yusuf; Balogun Alanamu, Dr. Uthman Abubakar Atolagbe Jos; Chief Imam of Ilorin and Imam Imale of Ilorin, Dr. Muhammad Bashir Imam Soliu (OON); and Sheikh Abdullahi Abdulhamid Abdulquadri respectively to seek their blessings on his ambition to contest for the position of the Federal House of Representatives seat in 2023.

It would be recalled that the international project management expert had during his several meetings to party stalwarts and relevant stakeholders in the constituecy declared his ambition to succeed in the coming 2023 general election.

Addressing the traditional and religious leaders, Shagaya expressed that he is committed to developing the constituency to reach its full potentials. “We believe that there must be democracy in our constituency, there must be freedom and there must be opportunities,” he said.

The Muslim clergies and the traditional leaders outpoured prayers and pledged to support the ambition of Shagaya to become the next Federal House of Representatives member.

Similarly, he held meeting with the former HoR aspirant and his members, Honourable Abdulfatai Shuaib Ajidagba (Ajifat) to appreciate his support post-primaries where the host collapsed his structure for the Shagaya Movement to build stronger strength in clinching the seat in the general election.
