Former Media Trust Staff Loses Father
The death has occurred of Malam Adamu S. Galadima, the Galadima of Kaiama Emirate in Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State.
He died at 83 on Sunday in his residence in Kaiama after a protracted illness. He was the father of Anas Galadima, a former Business Editor of Daily Trust.
Born on April 9, 1939, the deceased was a retired civil servant who worked in various organizations in his lifetime, with his final service at the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), Abuja.
He is survived by six children and 16 grandchildren. He has since been buried in accordance with the Islamic rites.
Malam Galadima was turbaned in 1994 as the Galadima of Kaiama, an ancient town in the old Borgu Kingdom. Before him, his father Muhammadu Samari Galadima was also the Galadima of Kaiama until his death in the late 1980s.
