This was part of the resolution on a motion on the spate of kidnapping in the state, moved by Hon. Ambali O. Ibrahim, (Owode/Onire constituency), and seconded by Hon. Saidu Baba, (Bani/Adena constituency)

The House, also called on security agencies to improve on the security architecture, especially intelligence gathering towards dealing with kidnapping and security of lives and property of the citizenry.

It further urged every member of the communities in the state, to report any strange movements within their respective areas to security agencies.

DAILY POST recalls that three persons, were kidnapped on Monday in two farms at Pampo village, in Asa Local Government Area of the state by heavily armed gunmen.

The kidnappers are demanding N45m ransom for the victims, even as the police have launched a manhunt for them.
