Power Minister Commends KWSG

The Kwara State Government has been commended for its passionate commitment to the actualization of Hydro-Electric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (HYPPADEC).

The Minister of Power, Arch. Darius Ishaku, gave the commendation while on an assessment inspection to the HYPPADEC headquarters, building complex at Minna, the Niger State capital, recently.

The team which was received by the Permanent Secretary, Kwara State Ministry of Energy, Alhaji S. K. Mohammed, and other officials also commended the Niger State Government for providing impressive facilities for the take-off of the commission's headquarters.

The minister who was represented on the visit by the Acting Director, Investment and Sector Development, assured the HYPPADEC member-states that his ministry would partner with them to facilitate the rehabilitation of the secretariat.

Responding on behalf of the HYPPADEC member-states, Alhaji Ibrahim Ahmed Matane who represented the Chief Servant of Niger State, Dr. Mu'azu Babangida Aliyu, appreciated the team for the visit, adding that the states are eager for the take-off of the commission.
