The Kwara State Internal Revenue Service, KWIRS, has pledged its support for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in the ongoing efforts to become victorious in the fight against corruption.

The Executive Chairman of KWIRS, Mrs Folashade Omoniyi made the pledge when she led the management staff of the agency on a courtesy visit to the Ilorin Zonal Office of the EFCC.

"Having a good relationship with the Nigerian Government Agency like the EFCC, I'm here with the management staff of Kwara State Revenue Service to pledge my support for the fight against corruption.

"Integrity is very key in whatever we do, I know we need to be open and transparent in the discharge of our duties, we are seeking for your guidance,"She said.

The Zonal Head of the EFCC, Ilorin Zonal Office, Kazeem Oseni appreciated the delegation and vowed for better collaboration.

"We have being working together for a long time, you are one of the Stakeholders in the fight against corruption, the EFCC will always respond when you call on us for any assistance.Our doors are opened 24 hours," he said.

"I must also emphasise that you will make our job easier when you do the right thing, you must do the right thing at all times, and also keep your records safe, this is very important in Public Service," Oseni added.
