Plans are in top gear by the Nigeria Speech and Hearing Association (NISHA) to organize a one-day public awareness and enlightenment forum on issues bordering on health challenges.

A statement made available to City Rove and signed by Mr Rufai AbdulMumin Olarewaju, the Secretary Local Organizing Committee, the programme will hold in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital by November 10th.

Activities slated for the day include health talk on care and speech problems, road shows and public lecture.

According to the release, the NISHA is the professional body of the Speech Therapists and Audiologists, affiliated to the Medical Rehabilitation Therapists Board of Nigeria under the Ministry of Health.

It added that free ear test will also be conducted on that day.
