PDP gov candidate throws Kwara Utd, Sunshine Stars match open, promises cash for goals

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Kwara, Mr Razak Atunwa, has thrown open the gate of the match between Kwara United FC and Sunshine Stars FC of Akure.

Kwara United Media Officer, Abdulwaheed Bibire, disclosed this to newsmen in Ilorin on Saturday.

The spokesman said no one would pay anything to see their darling team play for the first time in 2019 and in the new season.

He said Atunwa has also promised to reward the Harmony Boys N50,000 each for every goals scored against the Owena Waves.

Bibire said the Kwara PDP governorship candidate said this was just the beginning of what to come for sports if elected.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the match is one of the Group A abridged 2018/2019 Nigeria Professional Football League match day 1 encounters.

The encounter is scheduled for the Kwara Stadium Ilorin, at 4pm on Sunday.
