Kawu Baraje's mum dies at 96

The death has occurred at Baboko compound in Ilorin West local government of kwara State of Alhaja Ayisat Omo Agba Baraje.

She died this evening at the age of ninety six at a private Hospital in Ilorin during a brief illness .

The announcement of her death was made known this evening by Alhaji Ibraheem Babaolobi, the personal Assistant to Alhaji KAWU Baraje.

Late Alhaja Baraje who is the mother of a notable Nigerian politician. Alhaji KAWU Baraje would be buried this evening inline with Islamic injunction. at her Baboko residence and be led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Imam Mohammed Bashir and other Islamic scholars.

The janazah prayer would be witnessed by children , relations , friends and sympathizers of the deceased including Alhaji Abubakar KAWU Baraje .

Date of the fidau would be announced later.
