Gov. Ahmed Charges Civil Servants on Retirement

Ahmed gave the advice on Wednesday, while declaring open a two-day workshop organised by the state government in collaboration with Guaranty Trust Bank for civil servants and political office holders.

According to him, plan for retirement starts immediately one secures employment.
"Planning is a way of achieving success, attaining development in the society and becoming useful to oneself. I advice the participants to take the workshop very serious in order to have a better future," he said.
He assured them of government's readiness to support them to attain financial freedom.
In his remark, Mr. Nicholas Nyammali, the Marketing Manager of the Ilorin branch of the Guarantee Trust Bank (GTB), commended the state government for its support.
Nyammali said that his organisation would support the civil servants on financial planning, financial opportunity and financial investment so as to have a better future. (NAN)
