The National Caretaker Committee of the People's Democratic Party PDP in Nigeria has received a delegation of the party's state delegates from Kwara State North central Nigeria.

The Chairman of the PDP National Caretaker Committee Senator Ahmed Makarfi who received the delegation as part of efforts to reconcile aggrieved members of the party, said Kwara State is the only state the leadership of the party is meeting with a large number.

Senator Makarfi cited some state chapters of the party which include Lagos and Adamawa as state chapters that are making progress and will soon make their submissions to the PDP National Caretaker Committee.

Senator Makarfi described members of the PDP in Kwara State as politically mature and active.

"What the party wants is not just people who are in PDP to reconcile and move forward, but influx of people joining the party".
