Ummrah: Kwara Begins Airlift of Pilgrims on Monday
The first batch of 243 Ummrah pilgrims from Kwara is to be transported to Saudi Arabia by Medview Airline tomorrow from the Ilorin International Airport.
The Permanent Secretary (General Services), Kwara State, Muritala Shehu, disclosed this during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ilorin on yesterday.
He said adequate arrangements had been made to ensure the successful lifting of all the pilgrims to the Holy Land.
The first batch of pilgrims include those sponsored by the state government, local councils, and private individuals.
The Permanent Secretary advised intending pilgrims to arrive the Ilorin International Airport by 9:00 am tomorrow for necessary documentation before take-off.
