Unilorin Holds End of Senate Soiree
Members of Senate and staff of the University have been charged to extend cooperation to the incoming top officers of the university as they should always look forward to making the University better by far.
This charge was made by the University's Vice Chancellor, Professor Is-haq Oloyede during the end of senate and soiree on Wednesday 31st August 2012 held at the Vice Chancellors house.
Professor Oloyede advised the staff to always be positive as contributions made to the Institution are for the individuals and to make the labors of the past heroes count in the development of the Institution.
He expressed his gratitude to members of the University of Ilorin by appreciating their efforts as each departments and units in the Institution worked relentless in the success of the just concluded session.
The Vice Chancellor thanked the immediate deputy vice chancellors academic and management services Professor Albert Olayemi and Professor Kolade Ayorinde respectively in ensuring the success of the session.
In response to the Vice Chancellor, the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics, Professor Bayo Lawal, stated that the success story of the University must continue through hard work as maintaining success is usually difficult.
He also encouraged the Vice Chancellor designate Professor Abdulganiyu to keep up the good works.
Among members of the senate and staff of the university present at the dinner were the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Management and Services, Professor Yissa Fakunle, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research and Innovation, Professor Funsho Oladele, Provost Medical College, Professor Omotosho, Deans of other Faculties staff of the University of Ilorin and other well wishers.
