Nigeria Football Federation has ordered replay of the match between Kwara Utd FC Vs FC Taraba in Abuja under closed doors with close supervision by the Nigeria National League at a date and time to be fixed by the NNL

This was one of the decisions of the NFF Disciplinary Committee during its sitting on 12th October, 2016 at Bolton White Apartment in Abuja. Taraba FC were fined the sum of One Million Naira (N1, 000,000) only for being responsible for the late kick-off of the re-scheduled match.

The Committee, which arrived at the above decisions after invoking Art. 3.8(3), regretted the failure of the appointed Centre Referee Elaigwu Hannah not to have being able to state the exact commencement time of the match in her report. The Committee noted that all parties have a right to appeal its decision.

In the matter involving Wikki Tourists Feeders, the Committee noted that the allegation of inordinate match accord as alleged by Wikki Tourists Feeder FC could not be proved beyond reasonable doubt considering the facts presented before the Committee and noted that the decision for the match to be re-scheduled to 2nd October, 2016 by 10:00am was not complied with as the match did not start as scheduled.

It ruled that the match played on 2nd October, 2016 is classified as a no match, based on its failure to kick off within 30mins of the re-scheduled kick off time of 10:00am.
