Date: 2012-02-09

A call has gone to Nigerians to always donate generously towards the development of the less privileged in the society.

The acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje, made the call in Ilorin at the weekend.

"I want to believe that every member of this community or Nigeria, as a country, has a role to play in the development of his or her neighbour and the people in the larger society," he said.

He said that if many of those children at the various reception centres across the country were well taken care of, they could be good assets to the country in the future.
