Maiden Oyebanji writing competition begins Monday

The maiden annual Mashood Oyewole Oyebanji Writing Competition will begin Monday 6 June 2016 and close on the 5 July 2016. This was contained in a statement signed by the press secretary to the founder of the foundation, Tunde Razaq Adebayo. The statement stated that the theme for the first annual competition is "people, political party and personalities- the role of Nigerian youths in 2019".

It added that entrants should be between the ages of 18 to 35 years old and must be a Nigerian ( Home or Diaspora).

The statement pointed out that the writing should not be more than 2000 to 2,500, time new roman, fourteen font size and should include the name, state, age, gender and the educational qualification of the candidates.

The statement also added that the top three writings would be featured in an international journals and would also attract monetary prize as the first prize will win 70,000, 50,000 for second runner up and the third prize would be 30,000 naira.
