Emir of Ilorin to Commission Mosque on Friday

The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has invited Islamic organisations and the general public across Kwara State to the commissioning of Shehu Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari Jumat Mosque on Friday June 3, 2016.

The newly completed mosque is located on Murtala Muhammed way after A' Division Police Station in Ilorin.

The Emir who is also the Chairman of the State Traditional Council who spoke in a statement signed by the National Secretary of the Shehu Alimi Foundation for Peace and Development, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, said the event will also witness the observation of the first Jumat service which will be led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Alhaji Muhammad Bashir Soliu.

The statement however urged Muslims to be punctual stressing that the Jumat service will commence by 1pm even as he prayed Allah to protect everyone from their respective locations to the event.
