Makama of Ilorin: Emir debunks rumour.

The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has urged the general public to disregard a rumour making round that the Makama of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Oniye, has been suspended.

The monarch in his reaction on Sunday stated that he received the rumour with crude shock and disappointment stressing that the Makama of Ilorin remain trusted and competent in the Emirate's activities.

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari however maintained that only peaceful co-existence can translate into the desired growth and development in the state and urged the mastermind of the falsehood information to desist from such act.
