Ilorin-West Repeat Election: Belgore to Lead Aiyelabegan's Campaign
Belgore's media said, "there is no iota of truth in the story. And as you can see for yourself it quoted no identifiable source from the party. I call it poor journalism. My principal, Mohammed Dele Belgore SAN and Alhaji Lai Mohammed were together yesterday to plan for the said repeat poll coming up on Saturday - not the Tuesday June 26 mentioned in the story.
"And to finally nail the laughable claims in the story, the Senior Advocate is expected to lead Abdul Aiyelabegan's campaign in Ilorin in a couple of days. So where's the substance in the story? I implore my colleagues to endeavour dignify this noble profession with credible reports."
The repeat election which will hold on Saturday (30th June) is expected to be a straight fight between Abdul Aiyelabegan (ACN) and Alhaji AbdulFatah Salman (PDP).
