Kwara Govt Appoints 14 Permanent Secretaries

The Kwara State government has approved the appointment of 14 new permanent secretaries in the state civil service.

A terse statement by the state Head of Service, Hajia Zahra Omar, said the appointment took effect immediately.

The statement said the appointees had consequently been deployed to various ministries in the state.

It listed the new permanent secretaries as Ajibike Katibi, Ministry of Industry and Solid Minerals; Abubakar B.M, Establishment and Training; Maryam A. Garuba, Education and Human Capital Development; David Adesina, Health and Dr Erubu Oba Zubair, Water Resources.

Others included Abdulsalam A. Yusuf, Political, Cabinet and Special Services; Bayo Onimago, Commerce and Cooperative; Mustapha AbdulGaniyu, Social Development and Culture and Mohammed Katsina Ahmed, Ministry of Energy.

The rests were Oluwole Dupe, Service Welfare; V.O. Abioye, Liaison Office Abuja; Dr A.E. Afolabi, Environment and Forestry; S.O. Opowoye and M.Y. Abdulrahaman, Teaching Service Commission.
