A new Kwara is born, says Gov. Ahmed

Date: 2012-05-31

Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State has assured the people of the state of his continuous efforts towards ensuring that the dividends of democracy gets to the nooks and crannies of the state.

Ahmed said that, "From the streets of Ilorin to the farms of Pategi, the neighbourhoods of Erin-Ile, the courtyards of Kosubosu and fields of Bacita, let it be heard loud and clear: A new Kwara is born today.

"It is therefore with a great sense of history and pride that I formally unveil our brand new logo and flag off the campaign for a greater Kwara. Indeed, it is good here."

Ahmed dropped this hint in Ilorin yesterday at the occasion marking his one year anniversary as the state governor and unveiling of the state's new logo.
