The Kwara State Government has again re-assured the people of the State of 24-hour water supply when the on-going reticulation project is completed.

Commissioner for Water Resources, Alhaji AbdulMumini Sidiq Katibi made the reaffirmation during a site inspection of the pipe laying in different parts of the State.

Alhaji Katibi said high and low lift pumps have been completed since December, adding that the condition of the pipes laid between 1952 and 1976 was a problem.

He disclosed that the State Government had awarded contract for the relaying of the pipes.

The Commissioner also said that two additional 10,000 meter cubic of water reservoirs would be constructed at Oloje and Oke-Ose to compliment the existing ones.
