Chairman,Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (subeb), Nuhu Daibu, has donated school uniforms worth N700,000 to 540 pupils of Ipata A and B primary schools.

Speaking during the presentation of the uniforms in Ilorin, Daibu said that the gesture was part of his contribution to the development of education in the state.

He also said that the welfare of the school children who are the future leaders of the country, must be given the deserved priority

Daibu also charged the parents and guardians to ensure provision of school materials for the pupils to enhance their learning.

Also speaking, the chairman of the Ilorin East Local Government Area, Hajia Aminat Ishola, lauded the donor for the offer and urged others in the society to emulate the gesture.

The council boss also charged the teachers to improve on their teaching and learning methods to bring out the best in the pupils.

While commending the chairman for the donation of the school uniforms, one of the parents, Alhaji Saliu Opeloyeru, said this would assist the less privileged parents.

Also speaking, the Head Mistress of Ipata LGEA School, Hajia Kareem Tinuola, lauded the SUBEB chairman for supporting the school pupils with new uniforms.

She assured the readiness of the school towards improving teaching and learning in line with reform agenda of the state government.
