Emirate Joint Associations declare support for Saraki, Ahmed, others

The Emirate Joint Associations of all political groups under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) has promised to do everything possible to ensure the victory of all candidates of APC in the forthcoming general elections.

The association gave the pledge in Ilorin yesterday in a statement jointly signed by five chairmen of joint associations.

The statement was jointly signed by Ilorin South Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Sidiq; Ilorin West Chairman, Alhaji Issa Kolobo; Ilorin East Chairman, Alhaji Babatunde Musa; Moro Chairman, Alhaji Abdulraheem Abidogun and Asa Chairman, Mr Ola Olabola (JP).

The statement particularly declared support for the candidature of Senator Bukola Saraki, Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed and all other APC candidates.

The Emirate Joint Associations promised to mobilize all the members of associations to cast their votes for APC candidates.

The statement called on the people of Ilorin Emirate and the state at large to vote massively for APC in the forthcoming general elections.

It added that all APC candidates were popular and competent and would not disappoint Nigerians.
