New Year message From Abdulakeem Amao, Labour Party Guber Candidate

Date: 2015-01-01

We in Labour Party do welcome you to a New Year 2015 and a New Dawn in Kwara State of Nigeria, the past years had gone bye with their worries, intrigues and burden, the sorrows of those years are man made and not of God, these are the result of greed and our un-satiable lust for cheap needs and handouts.

In Labour Party, our aspiration in this election year 2015 is gone beyond selling of our birth right, we are here to correct the ills of the society and right the wrong and the believe that the governance of our State is the prerogative of a few.

We all can be what we preach, so, are you one of those who had eating their seedlings before planting, have you sold your four years right of participation for peanuts, have you taken a cooler, refrigerator, sewing machine and other false empowerment gadget as a mortgage for your right of speech or your voice to be heard? If yes you can only sit down and watch your future go down the drain without a voice, you can only appreciate the sons and daughters of your benefactors enjoy the largess of the State at your expense, but if not, yours is the participating voice that has the right to know how your collective wealth is spent as the four year term rolls bye.

In the history of Kwara State, this is the first clarion call to a sustainable government, that is all-inclusive and not selective, Labour Party is the Party of all, either you are a Civil Servant, Artisan, Laborer, Teacher, Contractor, etc. We in the Masses party are inviting you all to the new dawn, we are neither rich nor wealthy from ill gotten funds, we do not posses questionable characters neither are we slave drivers, we do not indulge in telling lies and inflating figures of what is obtainable, we do not amass wealth at the detriment of the people, ours is a government of the people by the people and for the people, it is simple democracy.

The future of Kwara State under the leadership of Labour Party guarantees, twenty four hours power supply and water, mass industrial rejuvenation and creation of jobs for middle manpower development and support, more people oriented infrastructural projects, NGN30,000 minimum in all State Government Establishments and full liberation of Local Government Councils from the shackle of the State.

We promise to re-engineer the State within a proven record time of 180 days in Government if given the opportunity, please vote wisely, Vote Labour Party

Wishing you all a Prosperous New Year and a New Dawn

Labour Party – Forward Ever.

Amao Adelaja Abdulhakeem, Labour Party Governorship Candidate
