FRSC warns officers on racketeering

The Federal Road Safety Corps has warned men of the corps to desist and never get involved in any form of racketeering.

The Deputy Corps Marshal, Mr Boboye Oyeyemi, who made the warning during an inspection visit to the Kwara State Command along offa road in Ilorin, said any officer found wanting would be sacked with immediate effect.

While commending the officers especially the special marshals for effective delivery of work, Oyeyemi, however, advised all road safety staff to remain committed in the discharge of their duties.

The deputy corps marshal, whose visit coincided with the opening ceremony of the Kwara State General Hospital Ilorin, commended the state government for procuring trauma centre at the newly renovated hospital.

He explained that the centre would safe lots of lives during emergency.
