Ahmed Preaches Peace for Nigeria's Devt

Kwara State Governor, Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed has again called on Nigerians, irrespective of their ethno-religious differences, to embrace peace for the attainment of development in the country.
 
Governor Ahmed made the call in Katsina during a condolence visit to his Katsina State counterpart, Alhaji Ibrahim Shema, who lost his father recently.
 
Dr Ahmed, who decried the pockets of violence in some part of the country, stressed that no nation can develop amidst violence and rancour, adding that all Nigerians must have confidence in the Nigerian project for the good of all.
 
He commended the Katsina State Governor, for been an advocate of peace and for sustaining peace in the State.
 
On the death of Governor Shema's father, Dr Ahmed beseeched Allah to grant him aljanat fridaous and grant the Shema family and the State the fortitude to bear the loss.
 
Responding, the Katsina State Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Shema thanked the Kwara State Governor for the condolence visit and also congratulated him on the Business day Best Governor Award on Agriculture, noting that agriculture remains the surest avenue out of the current security, economic and social challenges in the country.
